QuickProxy 2009.03.28 Release

I’ve finally squished the last bug in the newest QuickProxy release, rushed by Mozilla approvers due to the previous release being held back because of the code structure. This should address that issue, and also maintain all of the functionality of the extension. The recode has been quite successful in optimizing the code of the extension, so hopefully it will be slightly more stable also.

I’ve also been able to release this latest version with the localisations that I’ve been provided by the folks over at BabelZilla, which have been great so far for the extension. The localisations that have been included are for:

  • Chinese (Simplified) – zh-CN
  • Chinese (Traditional) – zh-TW
  • Czech – cs-CZ
  • Dutch – nl-NL
  • Frech – fr-FR
  • German – de-DE
  • Polish – pl-PL
  • Portugese (Brazilian) – pt-BR
  • Russion – ru-RU

I haven’t been able to test this as thoroughly as I would have liked, but the issues with the current Public released pushed me to get this out as quickly as possible. If you do have any issues let me know and I can look into these.

Can you pl. make it compatible to the latest beta releases.

I’m using 3.1b3 and it wouldn’t let me install.

Been using this for a long time and really miss it in the beta – thank and leep up the great work 🙂

OK. Got it. Had to click on “See All Versions” to get to the latest build, which does work with 3.1 Beta 3. Great !!

Hopefully Mozilla will approve it soon so that you won’t need to go through the view all versions. Fingers crossed I’ve nailed out any compatibility issues they can hold it back for, but only time will tell.
